I'M SO IN LOVE WITH THIS.

I love Nick and Charlie from back when I first read Solitaire. To have this whole things dedicated to just them, is a dream come true. I LOVE THEM SO DAMN MUCH.

They are seriously the cutest little fuckers. I had so many feels about their friendship and then when things started to develope further. I HAVE THE FEELS!!! I HAVE THEM BAD!!!!!

I started the second one right away, cause now that I'm in it, I'm going in ALL THE DAMN WAY.

Ich bin so froh, dass ich das Buch angefragt (Netgalley) und auch bekommen hatte. Vor allem, dass ich es nicht ewig in meiner Kindle App habe liegen lassen, sondern es auch gleich gelesen habe.

Das Buch ist so wichtig. Und wirklich gut zu lesen, es ist verständlich und es gibt einen mit Zitaten aus anderen Werken, mit Fußnoten, einfach die Möglichkeit noch tiefer in das Thema und die verschiedenen Sichtweisen einzutauchen, so viele Quellen, die man auch noch lesen kann.

Es ist auf jeden Fall eins der Sachbücher, dass mich noch lange beschäftigen und zum Nachdenken anregen wird.

HOLY SHIT THIS WAS GOOD

THIS WAS SOOOO DAMN GOOD.
I didn't know what I was expecting, but this sure as hell wasn't it.

I love the whole story and the whole setting of this prison, it was just something different. I love how intense this story was. Especially towards the end, I couldn't sit still while reading it. It was INTENSE.

I love the characters. Kiva as a main character is incredible. I LOVE HER. She's so strong, she is so caring. She is one of the people that the world tried to break, but nope, she is still caring. She is a grump with a bit of sunshine.
I LOVE the relationships. THE FRIENDSHIPS. Kiva and Tipp own my heart and soul. I love Jaren and the relationship they build. It had a really good pace. But to be honest, even though I love them. Kiva and Naari. IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. I would be here for it. I don't think the story will go there and I'm okay with them being best gals. But yeah lol

THE ENDING. HOLY FUCKING SHITBALLS.
The twists and turns, I had to sit down and breathe for a second, cause hot damn. DAMN!!!!

So glad I got the second one from Fairyloot as well, cause I would've kicked myself if I hadn't.

Wie auch beim ersten Buch, super tolle Geschichten, ich mag den Schreibstil und den Sprecher für das Hörbuch einfach sehr.

Essi. Ich hätte gerne mehr von ihr gehabt.

Aber uff, ich bin ja in der Netflix Serie kein Fan von Jaskier, er tut einfach so absolut nichts für mich. Im Buch finde ich ihn noch unterträglicher. Gerade in der ersten Geschichte, [die Szene als Yennefer halb nackt gefesselt und angedeutet wird, was die Männer mit ihr vorhaben...und er zu beschäftigt ist sie anzustarren um irgendwelche Einwände zu erheben, nicht, dass er das überhaupt vorhatte, denn wenn schon, sollen die Kerle doch über sie herfallen. Schulterzucken. WOW, nein danke. (hide spoiler)]
Jedenfalls verdirbt er mir die Laune jedes Mal wenn er auftaucht.
