I absolutely loved that we started right from where the first book ended.

Not gonna lie, it had me a bit worried for a moment, when I realized we probably wouldn't get the humans from the first book in this one. But...but then we got ART and a new set of humans, and Murderbot acting like it didn't care. BUT IT DOES.

I loved how it shared the tv shows with ART. And I just love how they are both sarcastic as hell.

I wanna know what Martha Wells puts in these pages that make me feel super connected to the story and the characters, while having these books be too damn short.

My audiobook of the year, nothing will come close to this, I'm calling it right now.
Elizabeth Acevedo as the narrator was just perfect. The book itself was incredible.

Not gonna lie it was heavier than I expected. Please check trigger warnings before going into this.
It's just really fucking hard to be a girl in the world. The sexism and the casual assault of boys/men putting their hands were they don't belong.

Dealing with all of this, and also having to handle an uber religious household at home. It was a lot. I think I struggled the most with the whole family dynamic, those were the scenes where I actually had to pause a bit. I couldn't relate at all, since I didn't grow up in a religious household but just the thought of the punishments Xiomara had to deal with, it was a lot. Also the notebook scene. I mean, I'm glad that they seemed to have worked it out in the end, but it's not my mother, so I'm holding a grudge for forever.

I would love a Xavier sequel, cause I need to know how he is dealing with everything. How and if he will come out. I need to know that he will be okay, that he will be loved.

Oh no. OH NO. I may have found a series that could become my new personality for the next year...
WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO READ THIS?!?!?!?!

I love this so much already, seriously. The story, the whole setting were just such a vibe. A tad bit more gory that I expected, it's about necromancer, tho, so what the hell did I expect really?!!?

THE CHARACTERS. Personally would give my life for both Gideon and Harrow. THE SARCASM, THE WIT, THE FUCKING BANTER. I'm eating this up and feasting. I absolutely love how the relationship developed betweem them, it was sooo good.

Can't wait to continue this, cause everything towards the end was just the wildest ride that still has my head spinning.

Well well well, if it isn't the clown that thought the books weren't for her, cause she's too stupid for scifi...even though people told her it's gonna be fine. I'm the clown, the clown is me.

To be fair, I watched the first three episodes of the show before I started the book. So I knew the gist (beyond reading the summary of the book.) This was also the first time (as far as I remember) that I listened to a graphic audio book and what a fun experience that was.

Murderbot is just everything that I need right now, the book and the character. It's so damn funny, and also way too relatable. I, too, don't want anything to do with people (yet don't mess with my humans) and watch my shows instead.

But I really like the group as well. I'm not sure if I need to be wary about them and should have some trust issues, but for now I just vibing with everyone.

Würde ich mir Band 10 eher früher als später wünschen? Ja, auf jeden Fall. Aber ich habe auch absolut nichts einzuwenden gegen einen Band in dem es einfach nur um Keefe geht.

Was mir einfach unheimlich gut gefallen hat war, dass Keefe nicht einfach nur an einem Ort war, sondern wirklich einiges von der Welt gesehen hat und so auch mit anderen Kulturen in Verbindung gekommen ist. Und eben auch mit Menschen aus der lgbtq+ Community (Happy Pride an den Jogger und seinen Ehemann, und der Kellnerin und ihrer Ehefrau)

Froh war ich auch, dass Keefe in der Zeit nicht vollkommen alleine war. Ich werde nicht spoilern, ich war zwar nicht ganz happy wer Keefe Gesellschaft geleistet hat aber so konnte er wenigstens ein bisschen mehr rausfinden.

Aber jetzt mal ehrlich, Shannon Messenger...Band 10?!?!!? BITTE!!!!!
