This is a tough one. Cause in general it was an okay book, it had lots of moments of "this could be great", but also quiet a few things that didn't work.

I liked the overall story, it wasn't super new but it was still interesting. And I liked the writing (I just had a few issues with some of the pacing, and some moments where the character figured things out without us - which turned to me sometimes not knowing how we got from point A to B.)

I liked the characters. But there were just so many of them. Which would have been fine if they all felt really different and had a point to the actual story. But some just felt randomly thrown in and didn't stand out, so they all blended together at some points.

At the end of the day. I liked both Alissa and Keil enough to wanna find out how things will develope for them. Carmen also was interesting to me. And Perla actually became my favorite at the end.

I'm not running to read the sequel, but I'm not saying I'm not ever gonna read it either.

Was für ein wunderschönes Buch. Ich liebe es einfach wie T. Kingfisher es schafft so viel in eine relativ kurze Geschichte zu packen. Die Story war echt richtig gut, das Tempo wie sich alles entwickelt hat und die Enthüllungen, die Flashbacks. Es war einfach alles total großartig.

Krötling. Krötling ist eindeutig mein Lieblingscharakter von dem ich diesen Monat gelesen habe. Und Halim. Ich mag sie beide total gerne als einzelne Charaktere aber auch total in der Dynamik, die sie miteinander haben.

Reading this book was so weird for me, cause it gave me all the Atlas Six vibes (I never finished that book, tho), yet I ATE THIS UP.

The many different POVs weren't an issue at all. I loved that we got to experience the story through all the different characters. And different they were. They are all on the messy side and I LOVE THAT. Love the different dynamics between all of them. I LOVE this group of unfortunate acquaintances.

Olivier and Emilio have my whole damn heart. But also whatever is going on between Masika and Irene, I'M HERE FOR IT. Wren and Augustine didn't really have me rooting for them, until the end when things got real complicated and REAL messy, NOW I'M IN.

Loved the setting and just the whole of the world, super interesting and something I haven't read that much.

This book was just vibes for me. Every other day I might have not enjoyed it, but the stars were in the right constellation and I just ate this up.

I really loved the story and the whole setting, the set up of the story. It didn't reinvent the wheel, but I just had so much fun.

And the characters. I just love sibling dynamics and loved the bits that we got.
I also really just loved Bristol. And Tyghan. They are both messy and idiots, but I truly enjoyed everything that's going on between them. The whole set up of the story just screams drama and tension and lots of misunderstandings, and trouble.

Can't wait to see the conclusion.

Ich hab das Buch im Oktober beendet und ich denke immer noch TÄGLICH an das Ende. Percy und Annabeth. Annabeth und Percy. AAAAAAAH!!

Ich liebe es, dass wir in diesem Band wirklich beide Gruppen zusammen hatten. Ich liebe die verschiedenen Dynamiken auf dem Schiff einfach so sehr. Leo wird immer mehr zu dem Sohn den ich nie wusste, dass ich ihn haben wollte lololol

Es war wirklich total spannend durchweg. Ich bin froh, dass ich wieder in der Welt bin, hoffentlich klappt es mit dem nächsten Band schneller lol

Aber ernsthaft, während ich wirklich jeden einzelnen Charakter mag. PERCY UND ANNABETH.
