THIS BOOK, Y'ALL!!!!

Let me just tell you how incredible this book was, the whole atmosphere, the vibes. It's giving Addie LaRue but way darker. And I loved every single second of it.
V.E. Schwab's writing is just everything.

The characters. The three women. I loved them all so much, flaws and toxicity and all. All three of them had lots of issues in their pasts that made them the people they are. It explained a lot without excusing anything.

Sabine. Charlotte. They had their "good for them" moments before they got a little bit too carried away and became ruthless. Also seeing this all like some kind of game and putting innocents in the middle of it. (Listen, it's bad and toxic and yikes, but I LOVED IT.)

Alice. The pawn in the game. Everything towards the end.
GOOD FOR HER. Seriously.
I couldn't imagine a better ending tbh.

Das Ende?!?!?!
Ich hab mir zum Ende hin gedacht, dass irgendwas nicht stimmt aber das hatte ich nicht erwartet. Es macht mich aber nur noch neugieriger auf den nächsten Band. Er kommt bald, oder?!?!?!?

Ich sag es in den neueren Büchern der Reihe eigentlich in jeder Review, aber ich liebe es einfach, dass wir weiterhin neue Flüsterwälder und andere Länder/Städte kennenlernen können.

Die Story war einfach unheimlich spannend gemacht. Ich denk immer noch ständig an das Ende.

Ich werde das Buch für die kommenden Monate zu meiner Persönlichkeit machen. Ich weiß nicht genau was ich erwartet hatte aber ich hab nicht erwartet, dass es mich so sehr packen würde. Eindeutig mein Lieblingsbuch für den Monat.

Der Schreibstil war einfach großartig und hat mich sofort in den Bann gezogen. Es ist schon lange her, dass ich so schnell ein Buch gelesen habe ohne nebenbei das Hörbuch zu haben. Ich bin nur so durch die Kapitel geflogen und wollte wissen was als nächstes passiert.

Die Charaktere. Constanta. Magdalena. Alexi. Ich fand die drei einfach so großartig. Ich fand es toll wie unterschiedlich sie waren, die unterschiedlichen Rollen die sie in der Gruppe eingenommen hatten. Aber vor allem fand ich das Band zwischen den Dreien einfach nur spannend.

Von Anfang an war es einfach richtig gut, hatte keine langweiligen Momente, und auch das Ende fand ich unheimlich gelungen.

Das war absolut nichts für mich. Die Idee fand ich wirklich total spannend aber die Umsetzung hat wirklich nicht funktioniert. Es hat super gut angefangen, ich mochte das erste Kapitel total.

Aber je weiter ich in dem Buch vorangekommen bin um so mehr hat es mich verloren. Während dem Lesen kam ich mir wie ein totaler Idiot vor, nicht weil es zu unverständlich war, sondern weil der Autor wirklich alles zu tote geschrieben hat. So oft wurden Dinge wiederholt und alles über erklärt, auf die Art "nur für den Fall, dass es durch die ständigen Wiederholungen nicht verstanden wurde, hier buchtabier ich nochmal was passiert ist". Es war ermüdend.

I'm finally continuing my Elizabeth Lim journey, and I love it.

I just love her writing, it's absolutely magical and really makes me feel like I'm there with the characters in their world.

The story was amazing. And the characters were incredible.
THE CHARACTERS. God, I loved them all so much.

SHIORI. I loved her from the very first page, her introduction is actually iconic. I loved how headstrong she was. While I loved her in the beginning, I loved her even more by the end of the book, cause the journey she had gone through, the growth she had. God I love her. Can we also talk about Kiki and how much fun she was??

I loved Shiori's relationship with her brothers, I loved how different they all were and the different kind of closeness they had to each other, but when it counted they absolutely would have done everything to protect the others. LOVED THAT.

I also really enjoyed Shiori and Takkan. Loved the backstory they had, but also how they actually really got to know each other in the present time. They are just the absolute cutest. Alsooooo, Megari. I feel like she is the little sister that Shiori never had and I loved their moments so much.

But (it's a fun "but" trust me,) my absolute favorite dynamic in the book had to be Shiori and Raikama. The twists and turns. THE LOVE. I'm unwell actually, just thinking abou the ending and everything that was revealed. Good god.

Here is to hoping I will continue this super fast, cause I need to know how this will continue. And I need to read Channi's book. I NEED IT!!!
