Es wurde richtig gut beendet und abgeschlossen, hat aber gerade mit dem letzten Kapitel nochmal richtig viel Lust auf neue Abenteuer gemacht, denn es ist eindeutig noch nicht alles gelöst.
Die Charaktere sind mir wirklich nach so vielen Bänden so sehr ans Herz gewachsen, ich könnte ewig ihre Abenteuer lesen.

I loved the whole setting, the story itself, and most importantly the characters. The humans and the not so human one.
I loved Sybil's journey. Discovering the world beyond the cathedral, uncovering some secrets and...a knight. Wait, what?!
I LOVE Sybil and Rory so much. Seperate from each other but also together. The pace in which their relationship developed, so delicious. I also really enjoyed the trifecta of Rory/Maude/Benji (until I didn't!!!)
Everything towards the end hurt, the revelations about the missing girls, gargoyles story, the betrayals. IT HURTS!!!

Die Kombination von ebook und Hörbuch war perfekt, ich hatte tolle Sprecher, die die Geschichte von Gamze und Semiya zum Leben erweckt haben, sondern auch die Bilder, die in dem Buch an besondere Momente erinnern.
Das ist eins dieser Bücher, wenn es einem nicht beim Lesen unheimlich wütend macht, dann stimmt was nicht mit einem. Das Versagen der Polizei, der Politik, am Ende auch der Justiz und stellenweise auch den Medien, macht einen einfach wütend.
Wenn ich an die NSU Berichterstattung denke, dann denke ich immer nur an die drei, die sie erwischt haben, ich denke an NSU 2.0 und ich denke an einen Politiker, der Opfer wurde. Denn das war gefühlt alles, was wir in den Medien, durch Nachrichten, erhalten haben. Aber was mit den Opfern, den Familien? Der Teil, der so unheimlich wichtig ist. Genau das hat das Buch wirklich näher gebracht.
Ich hoffe wirklich, dass dies ein Buch ist, was es in die Schulen findet. Weil es so wichtig ist, weil es ein Buch ist, dass wahrscheinlich nie von denen gelesen wird, die die Botschaften am meisten hören müssten.
Denn was hat sich wirklich geändert seit damals. Wir haben die AFD im Bundestag sitzen, dass ist nicht die Art von "wir müssen aus den Fehlern lernen", "wir dürfen nicht zulassen, dass sowas jemals wieder passiert". Geredet wird am Ende viel aber wir sind meilenweit von dem Ziel entfernt.

Started the audiobook and didn't stop until it was finshed. What a magical ride.
Not the full 5 stars, cause I think I need to physically read it for that.
But DAMN, this story is beautiful and magical.
And I love the way it is told.
